The app allows the user to capture 360-degree views of any location. We utilize this feature to capture 360-degree images. The fully immersive 360 degree images which Facebook supports can be created using Google Street View.
To create a 360-degree view, first, download and install "Google Street View APP" from Google Play. After installing, run the app and you can see a plus symbol. Tap on it and open the camera. The screen shall provide you instructions on how to capture the image. Move the screen around in all directions and align the camera perfectly with the "Orange Dot" appearing on the screen. It will take some time to capture images in all directions. Finally, the app will stitch together all the individual captures to make a full 360-degree image.
The app supports both Android and iPhone and is available for free. The upsides of Street View is that it creates perfect 360 images when used properly, and it’s free to use.
Some might find it hard to capture the image since it takes a lot of time and effort. So the simplicity is at question here.
2. Panorama 360
Panorama 360 is another very simple and easy to use 360 camera App. The app can be used to take 360-degree photos. But the image will be different from what we create using Goole Street View. Images are formed in horizontal plane only. That means you can view it by scrolling left and right. So full 360-degree immersive experience is not available in the app. But still, for those who want to capture the surrounding completely, without much effort, can use this app.
The app has two shooting modes. The output image can be viewed in two different ways. You can both scroll the picture and view it like any other flat photo, or you can use your smartphone’s inbuilt gyroscope and move your phone around to see different angles.
The app has some extra features like adding 3D effects to the photos, direct upload to social media, etc.
The 360 images that you captured can be uploaded to the web from the app itself. Sadly, Panorama 360 is only available on Android platform. However, the app is free to use.
3. 360 Panorama
360 Panorama is an app available for iOS platform only. You can use both iPhone and iPad to capture 360-degree images using this app. Just like Google Street View, this 360 camera App lets you create full 360-degree views. Not only right and left side, but also in upwards and downwards direction will be captured.
You can view the captured photo using your phone’s gyroscope. Move your phone in different directions to see the image completely. Some users have reported that it takes little bit more time for stitching the images together when compared to other apps.
The automatic light adjustment will help to produce better quality images. The app has photo sharing options and is easy to use.
On the downside, if you move your phone too quick, then the final output image might have some distortions or missing parts. This seems to be something that can be fixed via programming.

The complete immersive experience provided by the app enables the user to view the captured image in all directions.
